Hi friend,
Here’s 1 idea, 1 practice, and 1 question to create more expansive connections.
One idea to consider
Anger often acts as a deceptive facade, concealing a deeper array of emotions that we may find harder to confront or express.
When we experience anger, it's frequently a surface response to underlying feelings like hurt, disappointment, or fear. This mask can be so convincing that we might genuinely believe anger is the primary emotion.
However, it’s typically a defensive mechanism, a loud front hiding quieter, more vulnerable truths that reside beneath. By recognizing anger as just the tip of an emotional iceberg, we can begin to explore what truly lies beneath, leading to more authentic self-awareness and healthier ways of addressing our emotions.
One practice to try on

One question to ask
“How were you taught to handle anger when you were a kid, and would you handle it differently now?”
